Individual Therapy

Life can be overwhelming, especially when you feel like there are challenges constantly being thrown your way. It’s easy to get trapped in repetitive cycles that no longer serve you, and naturally you’ll start to feel like there’s no way out. It’s hard to open up to and get the support you need from friends and family who are overly emotionally invested. Individual therapy can help you to get off the hamster wheel, figure out how to deal with these challenges, and start living the life that you want to live.

What is Individual Therapy?

Individual therapy is a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.  It involves one-on-one sessions with a therapist that are geared towards helping you identify and address the root causes of your struggles, while also simultaneously helping you to build the tools you need to deal with life’s challenges. Your therapist will help you to gain clarity about what you are experiencing, and work collaboratively with you to identify goals that will assist in tailoring your sessions to meet your unique needs. At its core, individual therapy is about helping you become the best version of yourself. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, or simply just seeking personal growth, individual therapy can help you make the positive changes in your life that you are looking for.

At Mental Bloom Therapy, our mission is to provide you with a place where you feel safe, heard, and supported. A common thing we hear is, “there’s no way I can get better, my problems are just too big to resolve in therapy” or, on the complete opposite end of this, “most people wouldn’t even think my problems are actual problems.” Therapy is about you and your experience, and there are no issues that are too “small” or too “big” to bring to therapy. We believe that everyone’s struggles and experiences are valid, and we strive to offer a space for you to explore whatever is on your mind, without the fear of judgement.

We Can Help

Taking the first step can be intimidating. Before you commit to therapy, we offer a 15-minute consultation call where you will be able to share about your reasons for seeking therapy and what you are looking for. We will tell you more about our approach and answer any additional questions you may have. If at the end of the call you decide to move forward, your first session will be scheduled.
